Blackjacks roll past LQPV with 400-yard offensive effort

DAWSON – After racking up over 400 yards of offense, Dawson-Boyd football was able to dominate Lac que Parle Valley en route to a 35-8 win.

Quarterback Carson Stratmoen put together an incredible game in the air, going 8-9 on throws on the way to 142 yards and a touchdown.

Four of Stratmoen’s completions went to Jaxton Hastad, who went for 104 receiving yards in the game, hauling in Stratmoen’s lone touchdown pass

Colten Bothun led the Blackjacks in rushing with seven carries for 127 yards, three of which carries went for touchdowns.

The team will be back in action next week with a Sept. 25 home game against Springfield/Comfrey.
