The Red Rock Conference announced its All-Conference wrestling team on Monday, featuring five members of the Fulda/Murray County Central squad and one Red Rock Central wrestler. The conference also released the Winter Sports All-Academic Teams.

Kaston Clarke in 121, Brayden Gilb in 139, Quintin Lewis in 160, Vincent Bray in 215 and Colby Kesteloot in 285 each earned a selection for F/MCC.

Bray was one of just two freshmen selected to the All-Conference team, along with Red Rock Central’s Braxton Miller in 107.

F/MCC also earned a pair of honorable mentions with Teague Meyer in 145 and Lucas Kuball in 152.

F/MCC was also the only school represented in the Wrestling All-Academic team. Kesteloot, Kuball, Lewis and Meyer each were recognized on the list, which honors seniors with at least a 3.60 cumulative GPA.

MCC also led the pack for boys basketball with five All-Academic selections in Tayden Beerman, Eli Gillette, Carter Hanson, Aubin Licht and Cayden Veldhuisen, while Russell-Tyler-Ruthton and Westbrook-Walnut Grove each had a pair of athletes make the list.

For girls basketball, RTR’s group of five honorees — Brezlyn Buchert, Taya Christensen, Ava Guida, Ava Karbo and Jillian Schoenfelt — was second only to Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey’s six. MCC and WWG each earned three selections.
