SPRINGFIELD — Quinton Anderson earned his 75th career win as the Minneota boys wrestling team dominated in a pair of dual victories on the road in Springfield on Friday, only allowing 22 combined points on the night. The Vikings defeated BOLD 58-17 before nearly shutting out Springfield 71-5.

Springfield collected its 5 points in the first match with a technical fall before Minneota took the next 12 matches straight to end the dual, including three consecutive pins by Landon Pohlen, Nolan Vankeulen and Anderson.

Pins were contagious for the Vikings against BOLD, winning nine matches by fall including four in a row between the 133 and 152 matches.

Heydan and Hunter Danielson and Vankeulen started the match off with a trio of pins to get Minneota’s momentum started promptly.
