Jacob Allen is a junior forward for the Marshall boys hockey team in his second year with the varsity squad. So far this season, Allen has amassed 12 goals and 20 points in 17 games, both team-highs. With plenty of hockey left to play, Allen is on pace to smash his sophomore year totals of eight goals and 21 points.

Q: Who was your favorite athlete growing up?

A: Definitely Connor McDavid, he’s just so talented and so good, I love watching him.

Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?

A: Just over the summer, we had hockey tournaments. Getting first place in those, they were really fun and it was good to win with the boys.

Q: What’s your go-to pregame meal?

A: I like going for chicken and rice, and then also going for some pasta too.

Q: What’s one thing you’d want to have with you if you were

stranded on a desert island?

A: Sheesh, probably just a friend.
