MARSHALL — The Marshall girls gymnastics team came up short to Jackson County Central in a home meet Friday night.

JCC finished with an overall score of 129.05 to the Tigers’ 113.55.

Shyann Murphy placed third in bars with a score of 7.2, while JCC’s Braelyn Boogerd and Clara Brinks finished on top with a 7.8 and 7.325, respectively.

All around, Murphy led the Tigers with a 29.15 on the day. Kiera DeRuyter followed close behind with a 28.65, as did Chloe Citrowske with 27.325.

Raya Georgen finished the day with a score of 27.3, while Emma Manke scored a 26.325.

Marshall will next host Windom at 6 p.m. on Monday at the middle school.
