Leah Coequyt
Junior, Minneota
Leah Coequyt is a junior middle blocker for the Minneota volleyball team. Her role grew significantly for the Vikings this season, as she developed into one of southwest Minnesota’s top defensive presences at the net with a team-leading 45 ace blocks, as well as 126 kills in the regular season.
Q: What do you want to do for work after you graduate?
A: For sure nursing and healthcare… I’m going to go for my BS degree in nursing
Q: Who’s your favorite musical artist?
A: Definitely Zach Bryan or Megan Moroney.
Q: If you could go anywhere in
the world, where would you want to go?
A: Europe for sure, that’s one of my top 10.
Q: Anywhere particular in Europe?
A: Just all over.
Q: Do you know any other
languages?
A: Right now I’m learning Spanish.
