The Marshall soccer program earned a handful of conference honors this season. Sophomore forward Elsie Deutz and freshman forward Maddie Hoefer were both named to the Big South Conference All-Conference girls team, as were senior forward Sabino Us and senior defender Isaiah Argueta for the boys team.

On the girl’s side, junior midfielder Katie Gordon and freshman defender and midfielder Emma DeGroot both notched conference honorable mentions as well.

Sophomore midfielder Coby Guenther and sophomore defender Isaiah MacMurchy also earned Big South honorable mentions.

The girls soccer team finished second in the Big South Gold Division with a 4-2 conference record, and finished 7-9 overall. Their season came to an end in the Section 2AA semifinals with a 4-1 loss to St. Peter, after upsetting New Ulm 2-1 in the quarterfinals.

The boys team also finished second in the Gold Division, going 4-2 in conference and finished the season 9-7 overall. The Tigers fell in a close match to Worthington 3-2 in the Section 2AA quarterfinals to end their year.
