MCC girls repeat as 3A golf champs

WORTHINGTON — Ava Johnson, Rachael Huso and Natalie Einck each finished as top-6 individuals in the Section 3A girls golf tournament on Friday, leading the Murray County Central Rebels to a two-day score of 748 to claim their second consecutive section title.

Johnson finished as the tournament’s individual champion. Entering the day in a tie with Huso and Einck for third place after shooting a 23-over 94 on the first day of competition on Wednesday, Johnson closed out the tournament with an 11-over 82 on Friday.
