MARSHALL — The Southwest Minnesota State University football team announced its 2024 schedule on Friday afternoon. The Mustangs’ slate includes a 10 Northern Sun Intercollegiate games and one non-conference game against Nebraska-Kearny.

The Mustangs will open their season at home when they host Minot State for the Ag bowl on Sept. 7. The Mustangs’ home schedule also includes Concordia-St. Paul, Nebraska-Kearny, Wayne State, Umary and Winona State.

The Mustangs’ game against Nebraska-Kearny will mark the Mustangs’ first non-conference home game since they hosted Black Hills State (S.D.) in 2009.
