Pee Wee B

Marshall Pee Wee B advanced to the Minnesota Hockey South Region Tournament by going 2-1 over the weekend. The Tigers defeated Luverne 5-3 on Saturday before falling to Fairmont 8-4 on Sunday. Marshall came back and beat Luverne again 3-0 to advance. Brekken Parrie led the Tigers with eight goals and an assist. Griffin Leibfried scored three goals and three assists while Hawkin Hartman pitched in a goal and an assist. Assists were added by Chase Renken (3), Brayden Boerboom (2), Cohen Dwire (1), Nehum Klemm (1) and Charlie Grannes (1). Bentley Harrington finished the weekend with 80 saves. Marshall will face the top seed from District 8 at 10 a.m. on March 1 in Rochester.

Bantam A

Marshall Bantam A finished their season in the District 5 playoffs, going 1-2 over the weekend. The Tigers played a tough game against Willmar on Saturday, falling 2-1. On Sunday, Marshall edged Sartell in the first game 3-2, before River Lakes was able to take a 3-1 over the Tigers. Jacob Allen led Marshall with two goals and two assists. Easton Jiskoot and Ethan Boeck each added a goal and an assist while Tate Mellenthin netted a goal. Goalie Colby Allen finished the weekend with 84 saves.

Pee Wee A

The Pee Wee A team opened the District 5 playoffs going 3-0 to move to the championship game next Sunday in St. Cloud. On Saturday the Tigers defeated Willmar (8-1) and New Ulm/Sleepy Eye (11-3). Marshall beat River Lakes 8-2 to advance to the championship game. The Tigers were led by Callahan Jans who had six goals and two assists. Grady Hess had five goals and three assists while Morgan Rokeh added two goals and three assists. Bennett Kimman, Dax Anderson, Liam Deutz, Cale Erickson and Emerson DeMuth each scored two goals and Nolan Deutz and Cooper Zent scored a goal each. Goalie Brayson Ritter finished the weekend with 68 saves.

Pee Wee C

The Pee Wee C team went 3-0 over the weekend to advance to the District 5 Pee Wee C Tournament championship game on Sunday. The Tigers opened the weekend with a 9-3 win over Sartell on Saturday. Marshall scored a 3-1 win over Buffalo on Sunday to move to the championship game. Noland Munson led the Tigers with six goals and an assist. Theo Schroeder added two goals and two assists. Tracer Trollman, Garrett Pfannschmidt, Myles Swalboski and Carter Price each netted a goal while Cohen Louwagie, Asher Reinhart and Otto Meulebroeck pitched in an assist each. Alex Dunn and Jackson Valano had 19 and 14 saves in net respectively. The Tigers will face the winner of Buffalo/Sauk Rapids on Sunday for the title.

12U Girls

Marshal 12U finished their season in the District 4 Tournament, going 1-2. The Tigers started Saturday falling to Fairmont 4-3, but came back to defeat Worthington 5-3. On Sunday Marshall fell to Luverne 5-2. Lucie Pearson led the Tigers with four goals while Nora Holmgren netted three goals and two assists. Brennyn Walling, Stella Geihl and Dakota DeCamp each had a goal. Leila Ayala had two assists and Ana Macosay and Grace DeVries each added an assist. Brynn Stelter had 20 saves, Aubri Reinhart had 10 saves and DeVries had five saves on the weekend.

Squirt B Orange

The Squirt B Orange team traveled to Sioux Falls (S.D.) on Sunday for a pair of games, going 1-1. In the first game, the Tigers defeated Sioux Falls Orange 1 3-2, but fell in the second game against Sioux Falls Orange 2 6-2. Ryder Swanson had two goals for Marshall while Drake Leibfried had a goal and two assists. Carter Gratz and Ramie Anderson each netted a goal and an assist over the two games. Goalie Jaylen Novosad finished with 27 saves on the day.

10U Girls

Marshall 10U finished their season with a 1-1 tie with Minnesota Riverblades on Saturday. Addie Pieper netted the Tiger’s goal while Finley Boerboom finished with a save.
