Seasons continue for Marshall youth hockey

MAHA youth hockey roundup Dec. 6

Bantam A

Marshall Bantam A went 0-3 this past weekend. On Saturday the Tigers hosted New Ulm, falling 11-1. On Sunday the Bantams were on the road for two games, starting in Richmond where they battled River Lakes, ending up on the short end 5-2. Next, the Tigers traveled to Litchfield where they lost 7-0.

Pee Wee A

The Peewee A team stayed undefeated in district games last weekend going 3-0. The Tigers traveled to Willmar Saturday morning, blanking the Cardinals 8-0. They then returned home to host STMA, finishing the day with a 7-2 win. Sunday morning they played host to Windom where they scored another shutout 12-0. Pee Wee A will travel to Blaine this weekend for the Lumberjack Cup.

Pee Wee B

The Pee Wee B team moved to 4-0 in District 4 play with an 8-1 win over Worthington Saturday. Wyatt Dorschner, Braylon Oey and Griffin Leibfried each had a pair of goals while Alex Reaves and Hawkin Hartman pitched in a goal apiece. Cohen Dwire had two assists and Leibfried, Dorschner and Hartman each tallied one assist.

12U Girls

Marshall 12U girls played host to New Ulm on Saturday, coming away with a 2-1 win to stay undefeated in District 4. Grace DeVries netted a goal and an assist while Nora Holmgren and Brynlee Dieken had a goal and an assist respectively.

Squirt B Orange

The Squirt B Orange team went 0-1-2 over the weekend. On Saturday, the Tigers hosted NUSE, battling to a 6-6 tie. On Sunday Orange played host to Boji, falling 4-3 before traveling to Windom where they fought to an 8-8 tie. Carter Gratz led the way with six goals, including a hat trick, and an assist. Jayden Snyder netted four goals while Drake Leibried scored three goals. Ryder Swanson had two goals and two assists, Maxton Willert pitched in two goals while Nash Coudert added an assist. Goalie Jayden Novosad had 61 saves on the weekend.

Squirt B White

Marshall Squirt B White played three games over the weekend going 3-0. On Saturday the Tigers hosted NUSE, winning 8-3. White was at home on Sunday for a pair of games, defeating Windom 13-3 before beating Boji 10-2. Brody Louwagie led the way with 16 goals and two assists. Chandler Stidman added six goals and two assists. Will Schroeder and Hudson Ogren each had three goals and two assists. Ezra Deutz scored a goal and six assists while Max DeMuth and Jax Wurscher had a goal and an assist apiece and Jett Engler had two assists. Archer Deutz was strong in net with 53 saves.

10U Girls

On Saturday, the 10U Girls moved to 7-1 on the season with a 6-1 win over NUSE in Marshall. Avery Zent scored a hat trick to lead the scoring. Addie Pieper netted two goals, Brielle Hess added a goal and Sophie Becker had an assist. Aubri Reinhart finished with six saves.
