BENSON-- The Lac Qui Parle Valley Eagles/Dawson-Boyd track and field team competed in the North Sub-Section 3A playoffs on Thursday evening. The boys finished 2nd with a team score of 127. The girls finished 3rd with a team score of 143. Gavin Carl and Brayson Boike for the boys both finished in 1st place in multiple events they competed in. Boike also set personal records in long jump and triple jump events. Eli Hegland set a personal record also in the long jump. For the girls, Ayiana Hastad won the 100m Hurdles event and got her season's best while Taylor Wood came in 2nd in the 800 Meters event setting a personal record. Kalista Bormann placed third in the triple jump and set a personal record as well.
