MARSHALL – Due to expected weather conditions in Marshall this weekend, the Southwest Minnesota State University Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference softball doubleheaders against St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth have been postponed one day.

The Mustangs will now take on the Huskies April 23, starting at 2 p.m., while their match up with the Bulldogs will take place April 24 at noon. The doubleheader against the Huskies will now serve as alumni day AND senior day.

SMSU also has a pair of schedule updates for next week, as they will now play at Augustana on Wednesday, April 26, for a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m., before taking on Sioux Falls in a doubleheader starting at 10 a.m., at the Sanford Sports Complex on Thursday, April 27.

The Mustangs have now had 23 games affected by weather. SMSU is 12-25 overall and 7-11 in NSIC action.
