MARSHALL — Due to inclement weather and field conditions, the Southwest Minnesota State University baseball three-game Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference opening series schedule at Augustana University on Saturday and Sunday will now be played on Sunday and Monday in Omaha, Neb., and Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Sunday’s doubleheader will take place at Creighton Prep in Omaha, beginning at 1:30 p.m. On Monday, the two teams will play a single, nine-inning game at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The first pitch for Monday is slated for 11 a.m.

SMSU is 8-2 overall, while Augustana is 11-9 overall.
