MARSHALL — The Southwest Minnesota State University athletics department and the Mustang Booster Club are hosting a social to kick off the fall sports season on Monday at the Schwan Regional Event Center.

The social is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m., with a program to follow at 5:30 p.m. Snacks and beverages will be available on the concourse level.

As part of the program, an update on Mustang athletics will be given by new SMSU director of athletics Jen Flowers. Fall student-athletes will also be in attendance to meet Mustang fans and supporters as well as to share their outlooks on the fall 2022 season.

Fans will also be able to watch the Mustang football team practice on the new Mattke Field playing surface and can check out the field for themselves after the social.

Individuals are currently able to purchase single-game, season tickets and all-sports passes for the 2022-23 season at SMSUmustangs.com/tickets. Game tickets can be purchased, stored and managed online through the TicketReturn website.
