MARSHALL — The Marshall Area Youth Baseball Association is just getting their summer seasons underway. In addition to having the opportunity to play the game they love, MAYBA players got a chance to celebrate members of the community that support them.
Marshall State Farm® agent, Andrew Suby, was one of just 100 agents nationwide who were nominated and selected based on their community engagement. In addition to being recognized for his work, Suby had the opportunity to chose one nonprofit to receive a $5,000 grant from State Farm.
Suby chose MAYBA, who will use the money towards batting cages and other various projects to help improve the program.
Suby was grateful for the opportunity to give back to the Marshall community and the MAYBA program.
“Giving back to communities where we live and work is a big part of who we are at State Farm,” Suby said in a press release. “I am excited to present Marshall Area Youth Baseball Association with this grant because like State Farm, they are committed to helping others realize their dreams and empower youth.”
