MARSHALL -- The Marshall softball team earned the No. 5 seed in the Section 2AAA tournament on Tuesday. They will face No. 4 Jordan on Thursday at 5 p.m. at Caswell Park in Mankato. The winner will face the winner of the No. 1 Mankato East/No. 8 Albert Lea matchup at 7 p.m. on Thursday. The losers of each matchup will face each other on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the consolation bracket.
New Prague earned the No. 3 seed and will face No. 6 St. Peter on Thursday at 5 p.m. Mankato West earned the No. 2 seed and will face No. 7 Worthington on Thursday at 5 p.m., with the winners and losers of each matchup playing each other at 7 p.m.
All games of the tournament will be played at Caswell Park in Mankato.
