MARSHALL — Multiple area softball teams earned their section seedings over the weekend.

Section 3A

In Section 3A, in the North bracket, Lac qui Parle Valley earned the No. 1 seed and will face No. 8 Ortonville today at 2:30 p.m. in Madison. MACCRAY earned the No. 4 seed and will face No. 5 Benson at 4 p.m. today in Madison. The winners of those matchups will play at 5:30 p.m. in Madison. Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg earned the No. 2 seed and will face No. 7 Dawson-Boyd today at 2:30 p.m. in Murdock. Yellow Medicine East earned the No. 3 seed and will face No. 6 Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa today at 4 p.m. in Murdock. The winners of those matchups will play at 5:30 p.m. in Murdock.

In the South bracket, Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian earned the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye. They will face the winner of No. 4 Tracy-Milroy-Balaton and No. 5 Murray County Central at 5:30 p.m. today in Edgerton. TMB and MCC will play today at 4 p.m. in Edgerton. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton earned the No. 2 seed and will face No. 7 Lakeview today at 3 p.m. in Tyler. Wabasso earned the No. 3 seed and will face No. 6 Adrian Area today at 4:30 p.m. in Tyler. The winners of those matchups will play at 6 p.m. in Tyler.

Section 3AA

In Section 3AA, in the North bracket, Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta earned the No. 1 seed and will face No. 8 Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City today at 3 p.m. in Morris. West Central Area earned the No. 4 seed and will face No. 5 Minnewaska Area today at 4:30 p.m. in Morris. The winners of those matchups will play at 6 p.m. in Morris. Dassel-Cokato earned the No. 2 seed and will face No. 7 Montevideo today at 3 p.m. in Cokato. Litchfield earned the No. 3 seed and will face No. 6 New London-Spicer today at 4:30 p.m. in Cokato. In the South bracket, Luverne earned the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye. They will face the winner of No. 4 Windom Area and No. 5 Minneota/Canby today at 5:30 p.m. in Luverne.
