ST. PAUL -- The Marshall gymnastics team was well represented over the weekend at the Class A state meet, with Cameen McFarquhar competing on the balance beam.
McFarquhar placed 30th in the event with a score of 8.600. Watertown-Mayer/Mound-Westonka's Reagan Kelley placed first with a score of 9.725.

SLAYTON -- The Tracy-Milroy-Balaton wrestling team split a pair of duals in the Section 3A team tournament on Saturday, defeating Adrian/Ellsworth 47-25 before falling to Jackson County Central 63-6 in the Section 3A championship.
Against Adrian/Ellsworth, Linkoln Carlson and Alexander Schuh won by major decision, David Schuh,
Nevin Marten, Devin Carter, Ayden Horner, Jonathon Erbes and Caden Johnson won by fall and Eathan Martinez won by decision for TMB.
Against JCC, Carlson and Horner won by decision for TMB.
TMB will compete next in the Section 3A individual tournament next weekend in Wabasso.

No. 4 Minneota 23
BENSON -- The No. 4 seeded Minneota wrestling team fell to No. 1 seed Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa 46-23 in the Section 5A team tournament on Saturday.
Adam Devlaeminck and Jonah Gruenes won by fall, Peyton Gillund won by tech fall and Eli Gruenes and Jackson Esping won by decision for Minneota.
Minneota will compete next weekend in the Section 5A individual tournament in Glenwood.

RCW 69, Canby 66
RENVILLE -- The Canby boys basketball team fell to Renville County West 69-66 on Saturday.
Michael Tol led Canby with 17 points while Dylan Houseman added 14 and Trevor Gray had 11. Gray and Ty Stoks led in rebounds with nine each while Evan Weber led in assists with five.
Canby (5-19) will face Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley at home today at 7:15 p.m.

MINNEOTA -- The Tracy-Milroy-Balaton boys basketball team defeated Minneota 66-55 on Friday.
Noah Swenhaugen and Tony Nelson led TMB with 14 points each while Jake Turner added 13 and Trevor Smith had 11. Nelson led in rebounds with eight while Swenhaugen led in assists with eight.
Cale Sorenson led Minneota with 14 points while Peyton Sheik added 13 and Max Rost had 11. Sorenson and Sawyer DeSmet led in rebounds with seven each while Rost, Anthony Rybinski and Ryan Dalager led in assists with two each.
TMB (17-7) will face CMCS on the road today in the Camden Conference championship at 7 p.m. while Minneota (5-18) will face DB on the road today at 7:15 p.m.

Isaac Kronback led Wabasso with 23 points while Sam Fenger added 19 and Noah Anderson had 12. Kronback also led in rebounds with eight and in steals with three.
