MARSHALL — The Marshall Amateur Hockey Association Squirt B Orange and White teams hosted the Squirt Squadron Tournament this past weekend, finishing third and fifth respectively with 3-1 and 2-2 records.

Squirt B Orange

The MAHA Squirt B Orange team went 3-1 in the Squirt Squadron Tournament, finishing in third place on Sunday.

Marshall opened pool play with a 13-0 win over Hutchinson on Friday. On Saturday Squirt B Orange defeated Northfield 6-2 before falling to New Prague 12-0, placing them in the third place game on Sunday. Marshall finished the tournament defeating Albert Lea 5-2 on Sunday.

Griffin Leibfried led Squirt B Orange with seven goals and four assists while Noland Munson scored six goals. Theo Schroeder came away with four goals and three assists on the weekend. Carter Price and Charlie Grannes each had two goals to go with four and two assists respectively. Cohen Louwagie and Braylon Oey each had a goal and an assist while Nehum Klemm pitched in a goal. Arthur Dechat, Bentley Harrington and Alex Dunn each had an assist over the weekend. Dunn and Harrington also had 27 and 23 saves respectively.

Squirt B White

The MAHA Squirt B White team went 2-2 in the Squirt Squadron Tournament, ending in fifth place.

Marshall opened Friday with a 5-3 win over New Ulm/Sleepy Eye, but fell to Coon Rapids (5-0) and Albert Lea (4-3) on Saturday, setting them up for the fifth place game against Northfield, which they won 6-3.

Morgan Rokeh led Squirt B White with 10 goals over the weekend. Hawkin Hartman added a goal and three assists while Wyatt Dorschner and Garrett Pfannschmidt each had a goal and an assist. Brayden Boerboom scored a goal and Chase Renken had an assist to round out the scoring. Jackson Valano finished the weekend with 51 saves in net.
