SMSU WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: Mustangs conclude cross-division action at UMD and SCSU

MARSHALL — The Southwest Minnesota State University women’s basketball team (9-7, 5-5 NSIC) hit the road for a pair of in-state, cross division match-ups, traveling to Minnesota Duluth for a match-up with the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. today before heading to St. Cloud State for a Saturday match-up at 3:30 p.m.

Minnesota Duluth history

•The Bulldogs’ 2021-22 squad features six seniors, five juniors, four sophomores, and two freshmen.

•Forward Brooke Olson is the leading scorer for UMD, averaging 17.9 points per game on 50 percent shooting from the field while adding a team-high 6.3 rebounds per game.
