MARSHALL — The Southwest Swim Club competed in the 2021 SD Dakota Riptide Winter Invite held in Mitchell, SD on Dec. 3-5. The meet featured over 300 athletes from 11 swim teams from South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota. SSC had two athletes competing in eight individual events. Of those events, SSC had eight personal bests and three top 8 finishes.

On Dec. 10-12, SSC competed in the 2021 SD Candy Cane Meet held in Watertown SD. The meet features over 420 athletes from 13 swim teams from Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. SSC had 11 athletes competing in 50 events. Of those events SSC had 35 personal bests, 29 top 16 finishes, and 11 SD State Qualifying Time.
