MARSHALL -- Multiple area volleyball teams recently earned their section seedings.
In Section 2AAA, Marshall earned the No. 1 seed and will face No. 8 Worthington at home on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
In Section 3A, in the North bracket, Minneota earned the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye. They will face the winner of No. 8N Dawson-Boyd and No. 9N Lac qui Parle Valley on Friday at 7 p.m. in Minneota. DB and LQPV will play today at 7 p.m. in Dawson. Yellow Medicine East earned the No. 5 seed and will face No. 4 seed Central Minnesota Christian on Friday at 7 p.m. in Prinsburg. Canby earned the No. 2 seed and will face the winner of No. 7N Wabasso and No. 10N Lakeview on Friday at 7 p.m. in Canby. Wabasso and Lakeview will play today at 7 p.m. in Wabasso.
In the South bracket, Westbrook-Walnut Grove earned the No. 8 seed and will face No. 9 Murray County Central today at 7 p.m. in Westbrook, with the winner advancing to face No. 1 seed Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda on Friday at 7 p.m. in Okabena. Red Rock Central earned the No. 4 seed and will face No. 5 seed Edgerton on Friday at 7 p.m. in Lamberton. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton earned the No. 3 seed and will face No. 6 seed Adrian/Ellsworth on Friday at 5:30 p.m. in Tyler. Tracy-Milroy-Balaton earned the No. 2 seed and will face the winner of No. 7S Southwest Minnesota Christian and No. 10S Hills-Beaver Creek on Friday at 7 p.m. in Tracy.
