Natalie Wahl led WWG with 11 kills while Abby Wiggins added five. Kelsey DeSmith led in digs with 31 while Addeson Jenniges led in set assists with 17.

MADISON — Multiple area cross country teams competed at the Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd meet on Tuesday. On the boys side, Canby/Minneota took first with a team score of 43 while LQPV/DB took third (81) and Murray County Central took sixth (133). Lakeview, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton and Yellow Medicine East all recorded incomplete team scores. On the girls side, MCC took first with a team score of 45, followed by Canby/Minneota in second (74), LQPV/DB in sixth (146) and RTR in eighth (240). Lakeview and YME recorded incomplete team scores.

Boys

For Canby/Minneota, Kolton Duis took second with a time of 16:54.95 while Zach Ourada took third with a time of 16:56.04, Blake Stoks took seventh with a time of 17:22.57 and Blake Giese took 15th with a time of 18:25.08. Tristan Bierschenk took 18th with a time of 18:29.78 while Colton Ruether took 23rd with a time of 18:46.60 and Caleb Danielson took 50th with a time of 20:17.90 to round out their times.

For LQPV/DB, Payton Sterud took fifth with a time of 17:15.02 while Kaiden Allpress took sixth with a time of 17:21.67, Eli Hegland took 13th with a time of 18:10.40, Tygan Allpress took 29th with a time of 19:08.70 and Kade Solem took 32nd with a time of 19:15.44.
