The girls were wondering what we were going to do and we had to change our schedule a little bit and didn’t get much of a warm-up but they went out and competed well against some really good competition; there are some Class A girls who are ranked in the state and ran very well and really gave our girls some people to chase so it was nice to be able to race them,” coach Sample said. “As far as the team’s performance I thought everybody ran really well and I’m super happy with their effort and I think they were excited to run in front of their home crowd and it really showed in their running.”
