MARSHALL -- The Southwest Minnesota State University baseball program and Mustang baseball alumni will be hosting the SMSU Baseball Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 11, at Marshall Golf Club in Marshall.
The four-person scramble tournament will begin at 12 p.m. with a shotgun start and costs just $85 per person and includes 18 holes of golf and use of a golf cart. Prizes will be awarded for first and second place, along with hole prizes and other games.
Individuals or businesses can also sponsor a hole to help promote your business, while supporting the Mustang baseball program. Proceeds from the tournament will go towards supporting the SMSU baseball program.
SMSU head coach Paul Blanchard and current members of the Mustang baseball team thank everyone for playing in last year's outstanding event and look forward to reminiscing about more great Mustang baseball tales and creating new friendships.
