KERKHOVEN -- The Tracy-Milroy-Balaton softball team earned a doubleheader split against Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg on Tuesday, taking game one 4-2 before falling 5-4 in game two.
In game one, Mady Swan led TMB with a hit and two RBI while Grace Dolan added a hit and an RBI and Amber Hensch and Margaret Dolan each had a hit. Swan earned the win in the circle, going seven innings while allowing two runs on six hits and struck out four.
In game two, Kamryn Petersen and Megan Surprenant led TMB with two hits and an RBI each while Swan and Jadyn Lessman each had a hit and an RBI and Kiarra Danielson, Hensch and Grace Dolan each had a hit. Swan took the loss in the circle, going 3 2/3 innings while allowing three runs on four hits and struck out one.
TMB (13-3) will face LQPV at home today at 4:30 p.m.
