SMSU women’s basketball weekend games against Upper Iowa pushed back one day

MARSHALL — Southwest Minnesota State University and Upper Iowa University announced on Monday night that the scheduled Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference women’s basketball games between the two schools this Friday and Saturday in Marshall will be pushed back one day to Saturday and Sunday. The one-day delay will allow for COVID-19 testing protocols.

The two teams will play Saturday starting at 4 p.m., while Sunday’s game will start at 1 p.m.

Southwest Minnesota State is 2-0 on the season and will be playing its first NSIC South Division games of the season. Upper Iowa is 1-3 overall, 0-2 NSIC South.
