SMSU men’s basketball adds home games this weekend versus Minot State
MARSHALL – The Southwest Minnesota State University men’s basketball program has announced it has added a pair of home games versus Minot State University this Friday and Saturday inside the R/A Facility.
The two teams will play at 5 p.m. on Friday and will square off again on Saturday starting at 2 p.m. Both games will be considered non-conference games. The two clubs played each other last weekend in Minot, N.D., with Minot State winning 66-61 on Saturday, while SMSU rebounded with a 67-65 victory on Sunday.
SMSU’s and Minot State’s originally scheduled games for the weekend versus Winona State and Minnesota Duluth respectively, were canceled due to COVID-19 protocols.
Due to COVID-19 and Minnesota Department of Health guidelines, no spectators will be allowed inside the R/A Facility.
