Kiana Imes led Lakeview with 14 points while Savanna Louwagie added 13 and Shelby Gravley had 11. Gravley led in rebounds with 16 while Imes led in assists with six.

Lakeview (3-0) will face Minneota on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.

MINNEOTA — The Minneota girls basketball team defeated Central Minnesota Christian 68-45 on Thursday.

Abby Hennen led Minneota with 24 points while McKenna Yost added 17 and Abby Rost had 10. Hennen and Jeren Rost led in rebounds with six each while Hennen led in assists with five.

Minneota (2-0) will face Lakeview on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.

YME 65, RCW 23

GRANITE FALLS — The Yellow Medicine East girls basketball team defeated Renville County West 65-23 on Thursday.

Hannah Stark led YME with 17 points while Ruby Bones added 14 and Shelby Mortenson had 13. Mortenson led in rebounds with 13 while Bones led in assists with five.

YME (2-0) will face Montevideo today at 7:15 p.m.

TMB/WWG 73,

Luverne 3

LUVERNE — The Tracy-Milroy-Balaton/Westbrook-Walnut Grove wrestling team defeated Luverne 73-3 on Thursday.

Linkoln Carlson, David Schuh, Gage Struchen, Maddox Viessman, Caden Johnson, Travis Willhite and Nic Willhite all won by forfeit while Jeret Ankrum, Gabe Krick, Noah Ortiz and Eathan Martinez all won by fall, Devin Carter won by decision and Ayden Horner won by major decision for TMB/WWG.

TMB/WWG will compete next on Tuesday, hosting Canby and Madelia at 5 p.m.
