WORTHINGTON — Minnesota West Community & Technical College recently announced that Zachary Bakko has been hired as the new Bluejay Baseball Coach for Minnesota West. Bakko has an Associates of Arts degree from Rochester Community & Technical College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Masters of Leadership degree from Augsburg University.

Bakko played baseball for Rochester Community College & Augsburg University with recognition as the Minnesota Community College Athletic Association Player of the week.

Bakko provides services for baseball hitting lesson and has been head coach for the Northfield Youth Baseball Association. He has also currently been the Graduate Assistant Baseball Coach at Augsburg University.
