PREP VOLLEYBALL ROUNDUP: RTR slips past TMB in 3-0 victory

TYLER — The Russell-Tyler-Ruthton volleyball team defeated Tracy-Milroy-Balaton 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-23) on Monday.

Abby Carr had 13 kills for RTR while Ella Hesse added 10 and Haley Muenchow recorded six. Maddi Wendland and McKinley Schreurs each had 17 digs while Kalleigh Carr added 14 and Muenchow had 13. McKinley Schreurs also had 24 set assists while Kalleigh Carr added nine.

Jadyn Lessman had eight kills for TMB while Sheridan Ludeman added seven and Kylie Hensch recorded six. Margaret Dolan had 19 digs while Maddi Langerock added 17 and Kiarra Danielson had 12. Langerock also had 24 set assists.

RTR (10-2) will face Canby on Friday at 7:15 p.m. while TMB (9-3) will face YME on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.

Canby 3, YME 0

GRANITE FALLS — The Canby volleyball team defeated Yellow Medicine East 3-0 (25-12, 25-10, 25-14) on Monday.

Gabby Harding and Maya Wente recorded 10 kills each for Canby while Mackenzie Janiszeski and Aidyn Bruns each added seven. Kyla Rangaard had six digs while Wente added four and Janiszeski had three and Rachel Harding had 24 set assists while Paige Nelson added 20.

Alli Steffen recorded seven kills for YME while Ruby Bones added five. Kiara Sakry had 10 digs while Alexis Smith and Steffen each added eight and Riley Streich had 15 set assists.

Canby (9-2) will face RTR on Friday at 7:15 p.m. while YME (4-8) will face TMB on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.

Minneota 3,

Kasson-

Mantorville 1

KASSON — The Minneota volleyball team defeated Kasson-Mantorville 3-1 (25-16, 25-18, 22-25, 25-15) on Monday.

Abby Hennen had 17 kills for Minneota while Natalee Rolbiecki added 16 and Abby Frie recorded six. Hennen also had 21 digs while Rolbiecki added 17 and Elle Pesch and McKenna Yost each had 16 and Yost had 25 set assists while Ireland Stassen added 10.

Minneota’s (11-0) next match is to be determined.

RRC 3,

Adrian/Ellsworth 1

LAMBERTON — The Red Rock Central volleyball team defeated Adrian/Ellsworth 3-1 (25-18, 24-26, 25-18, 25-17) on Monday.

Karli Arkell recorded 17 kills for RRC while Nicole Schroepfer added 16 and Kierra Highby had eight. Schroepfer also had 22 digs while Bianca Weis added 15 and Arkell had 12. Nora Hemmingsen had 20 set assists while Schroepfer had 19.

RRC (8-2) will face SWC today at 7:15 p.m.
