Big South announces All-conference teams for cross country

MARSHALL — The Big South Conference recently announced its All-conference teams for cross country, and multiple Marshall athletes made the list.

On the girls side, in the Large Division, leading the way for Marshall on All-conference was Bellamy Sukalski, Taleigha Bigler, Allyson Sample, Miracle Tucker and Anna DeGroot. Joining them is Ella and Callie Dufault from Waseca.

On the Honorable Mention team, leading the way for Marshall was Cameen McFarquhar and Gracelyn Foster. Joining them is Hadley Stuehrenberg, Breely Ruble and Robin Hibscher (St. Peter), Evie O’Brien and Cora McCabe (Waseca) and Laura Thompson, Macy Hanson and Tabitha Thatcher (Fairmont).

In the Small Division, on the All-conference team was Tenley Nelson, Jenna DeBates, Grace Igebretson, Brooklynn Ver Steeg and Regan Feit (Luverne) and Gracie Bucher and Kaylee Walklin (Windom Area). On the Honorable Mention team was Elizabeth Wagner and Kayla Bloemendaal (Luverne), Alivia Fruechte (Pipestone Area), Catherine Buffie, Olivia Stoterau and Payton Schueller (Redwood Valley) and Olivia Anderson (JCC).

On the boys side, in the Large Division, leading the way for Marshall on All-conference was Owen Holmberg and Zach Leibfried. Joining them is Mikele Walu, Alec Langerud and Filmon Wolday (Worthington) and Matthew and Isaac Feldkamp (Waseca).

On the Honorable Mention team, leading the way for Marshall was Josh Leibfried, Sam Deutz and Ashton Schnaser. Joining them is Ofbeka Morke and Jordan Melendez (Worthington), Collin Dufault and Brody Wirtz (Waseca) and Connor Artner and Will Saari (Fairmont).

In the Small Division, on the All-conference team was Caleb Rivera and Marco Crispin (St. James Area), Jayson Peyerl, Mason Clark and Camden Cilek (Redwood Valley), Seth Lingen (Pipestone Area) and Camden Janiszeski (Luverne). On the Honorable Mention team was Evan Paplow and Andrew Boyum (JCC), Juan Castenada, Levi Miest and Austin Knickrehm (St. James Area), Caden Strasser (Pipestone Area) and Chance Elness (Windom Area).
