MILROY — The Milroy Yankees fell to Jackson 7-1 on Friday.

David Schmidt led the way for the Yankees with a 2 for 4 day at the plate while Derek Rasmussen added a hit and an RBI and Jackson Hughes and Zach Felcyn each had a hit.

Ty Kemp took the loss on the mound, going five innings while allowing four runs on six hits and struck out three.

The Yankees will face Raymond on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

Granite Falls 5, Sacred Heart 3 (10 innings)

SACRED HEART — The Granite Falls amateur baseball team defeated Sacred Heart 5-3 in 10 innings on Friday.

Cam Vien led the way for the Kilowatts with two hits and an RBI while Tyler Dammann, Bennett Knapper and Cole Richter each added a hit and an RBI.

Dalton Anderson earned the start on the mound, going six innings while allowing three runs on five hits and struck out four. Christian Kanten tossed the final four frames, giving up no runs and no hits while striking out four.

Granite Falls will face Willmar on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
