MARSHALL — The Red Rock Conference announced its All-Conference teams for girls basketball on Tuesday, and a few area players made the list.

Leading the way for Red Rock Central was Nicole Schroepfer and Karli Arkell while Shelby Christensen was the lone representative for Murray County Central. Joining them are Whitney Elbers, Taryn Rauk, Abby Knobloch and Kenadie Fick (Hills-Beaver Creek), Jazlynn Prins, Maren Nerem and Ella Veldkamp (Southwest Minnesota Christian), Margo Stoesz and Brooke Naas (Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey), Ashlyn Meester and Bailey Lonneman (Adrian/Ellsworth) and Chrissy Hermeling (Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda).

Leading the way on the Honorable Mention team was RRC’s Lily Stavnes and MCC’s Brianna Schmitz, as well as WWG’s Camryn Bunting and Bethany Byers. Joining them are Joslyn Birger (HBC), Cybil VanderTop (SWC), Destiny Sybounheuan and Kirsten Myers (MLA/Comfrey), Moriah Bullerman and Kallie Chapa (Adrian/Ellsworth), Khloe Gehl (HLO/Fulda) and Reece Wassink (Edgerton).
