AREA YOUTH HOCKEY: Marshall 10U girls hockey earns two wins this past weekend

MARSHALL — The Marshall 10U girls hockey team competed in a pair of games over the weekend, coming away with a 2-0 record.

On Saturday the girls played a home game against Worthington and came away with a 12-1 District win. Elsie Deutz was in net for the Tigers. Riley Anderson, Chevi-Nyhammer-Atwell, Brielle Felton-Krog and Avery Kesteloot each came away with a goal and Grace DeVries, Brooklyn Mauch, Leah Christianson and Emerson Demuth each had two goals for the game.

On Sunday the girls traveled to Redwood Falls for another District game and won 3-1. Lily Stelter was in the net with eight saves. Brooklyn Mauch came away with a hat-trick.

The girls will head to Litchfield this Saturday.
