PREP SPORTS ROUNDUP: Panthers outlast Vikings, 70-69

MINNEOTA — For the second time in three games, the Minneota boys basketball game came down to the final seconds. Once again, Minneota came up just short as Tracy-Milroy-Balaton defeated Minneota 70-69.

Trevor Larson led TMB with 29 points and seven rebounds, including eight 3-pointers. Jake Tauer added 12 points and 10 assists in the win, while Tony Nelson finished with 11 points.

Logan Sussner led Minneota with 36 points and 32 rebounds.

TMB (4-0) will host Yellow Medicine East on Thursday while Minneota (1-3) will host Russell-Tyler-Ruthton on Friday.

RRC held a 38-34 halftime lead.

Ethan Mischke led WWG with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Hunter Lien added 18 points and six assists in the win.

WWG (3-1) travels to Adrian/Ellsworth on Friday while Red Rock Central (1-2) hosts Madelia on Thursday.

CMCS led 55-8 at halftime.

Colette Duinick led CMCS with 24 points and five assists.

Avery Bartunek scored 15 points to lead the Blackjacks.
