PREP VOLLEYBALL: TMB opens Rochester tournament with pair of victories
Panthers will close out regular season today
ROCHESTER — The Tracy-Milroy-Balaton volleyball team went undefeated in the first day of competition at the Rochester Exchange Club Tournament in Rochester on Friday with a 2-0 win over Pine Island (25-15, 25-13) and a 2-1 win over Rochester John Marshall (25-14, 19-25, 15-11).
Jadyn Lessman and Kylie Hensch led the way for the Panthers in game one with seven kills each while Catherine Wendland added five. Kiarra Danielson paced the team in digs with eight while Maddi Langerock and Margaret Dolan added seven and six respectively. Langerock led the team in set assists with 24.
In game two against Rochester John Marshall, Amber Hensch paced the team in kills with eight while Lessman added seven. Danielson and Dolan were the team’s dig leaders with nine each while Langerock led the Panthers in set assists with 30.
TMB will continue tournament play today at 10 a.m.
