PREP SPORTS ROUNDUP: Dawson-Boyd falls to CGB

GRACEVILLE — The Dawson-Boyd volleyball team fell to Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley 3-0 (17-25, 19-25, 23-25) on Monday.

Karoline Dahl led the way for Dawson-Boyd with 14 kills while Avery Bartunek added 10 and Megan Mamer had eight. Bartunek led in digs with 10 while Tarah Johnson and Dahl each added nine while Kyndall Franzky led in set assists with 32.

Dawson-Boyd will face MACCRAY today at 7:15 p.m.

SAUK RAPIDS — The Canby volleyball team competed at the Sauk Rapids AA tournament on Saturday, going 3-2. The Lancers defeated Detroit Lakes 2-1 (25-17, 13-25, 15-12), Denfeld 2-0 (25-5, 25-7) and Detroit Lakes again 2-1 (25-21, 20-25, 15-9) and fell to Annandale 2-0 (25-21, 25-12), Jordan 2-1 (15-25, 25-22, 10-15).

Brooke Nelson led the way for the Lancers with 33 total kills while Charlotte Wright and Maya Wente each added 28. Brooke Nelson also led in digs with 42 total while Cassidy Hunt added 38 and Kyla Rangaard had 37. Rachel Harding led in set assists with 83 total.

Canby will face Minneota today at 7:15 p.m.
