PREP CROSS COUNTRY: Marshall girls compete at Roy Griak Invite

FALCON HEIGHTS — The Marshall girls cross country team competed at the Roy Griak Invite on Saturday, placing 23rd with a score of 636. Cherry Creek took first with a score of 75 while Naperville North took second (165) and Stillwater took third (186).

Kate Bucher led the way for the Tigers with a 44th place finish, running the course in 19:34.40. Natalee Sample took 90th with a time of 20:09.50 while Cameen McFarquhar took 159th with a time of 20:49.00, Allyson Sample took 188th (21:01.80) and Miracle Tucker took 226th (21:21.60).

Bellamy Sukalski took 248th (21:31.70), Gracelyn Foster took 329th (22:15.40), Saphi McFarquhar took 419th (23:19.60) and Skyla Lamfers took 489th (25:08.00) to round out their times.

Marshall will compete next on Tuesday at Montevideo at 4:30 p.m.
