MARSHALL – The Marshall Orange 13U baseball team, sponsored by U.S. Bank, was recently selected as a recipient of a Youth 1st Team Award for their high level of sportsmanship displayed during the Minnesota Sports Federation (MSF) state tournament. It’s the second consecutive year the team has been selected.

The award selections are based on votes and comments from state tournament umpires as well as input from tournament directors.

The Youth 1st organization, along with the MSF, helped create a Conduct 1st Environment during the state tournament and the Marshall Orange 13U players, coaches, parents and fans displayed good sportsmanship, positive conduct and a competitive spirit throughout the tournament.

As part of their recognition, the Marshall Orange 13U team and coaches will receive tickets to the Minnesota Twins game on Sunday, where they will be recognized with other Youth 1st Team Award recipients during a pre-game parade.
