FAIRMONT — The Milroy Irish defeated the Fairmont Martins 10-4 on Friday to even up their Region 13C Tournament series.

The Irish clubbed 15 hits in the win. Dominic Dolan led the way, going 4 for 5 with three runs scored.

Cody Mather got the start on the mound and earned the win. In six innings, he allowed four runs on seven hits with six strikeouts. Tyler Peterson pitched the final three innings, striking out four batters and only allowing one baserunner.

The deciding game of the series will be Sunday afternoon at Irish Yard, with first pitch scheduled for 2 p.m.
