SLAYTON – The Murray County Central volleyball team fell to Pipestone Area 3-1 on Monday, losing by scores of 21-25, 25-18, 25-20 and 27-25.

Alyssa Groves led the way for the Rebels with 17 kills while Bryn Hoekman added 14 and Elise Rohrer and Brianna Schmitz each had seven. Laney Brown and Courtney Schmitz led in digs with 15 each while Brianna Schmitz added 13. Brianna Schmitz also led in set assists with 27 while Danielle Kuball added 24.

MCC will face Red Rock Central today at 7:15 p.m.
