TYLER – The Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Basketball Booster Club has created a 3 on 3 league this summer in collaboration with the RTR community education program.

The league consists of boys that were in grades 5-7 this year and play on Tuesday nights, while the girls in grades 5-7 play on Wednesday nights.

The program has five boys teams and four girls teams. The program is thankful for the sponsorship from TE Underground and Borch’s Sporting Goods.

The goal is to get kids in the gym and develop their basketball skills. RTR head coaches Ted Kern and Steve Krause have been in attendance providing guidance and some coaching to help the young players out.
