Halloween at the Y

Join us today from 1 to 3 p.m. for our annual Halloween at the Y event. This free event is open to the entire community. Free will donations will support the Y Partners program which provides scholarships for Y membership, child care programs, swim lessons, and youth sports programs.

Come in costume and enjoy carnival games and activities in the gym. Special thanks to Kiwanis, Big Buddies, Sunrise Rotary, SMSU Men’s basketball, and the SMSU Chemistry club for volunteering at this year’s event. Drop in volunteers are also welcome today.

Participants must sign-in at the Y. You can skip the line by pre-registering via the Y’s Website or Facebook page. We are excited to see everyone at the Y and don’t forget your treat bucket.

Gobble Wobble and Mashed Potato Mile

We are just over a month out from the annual Gobble Wobble 5K and Mashed Potato Mile. Registration for this Thanksgiving Day event is open with early bird registration running through Oct. 31. A virtual option is also available. Registration and race details are available on the YMCA website.
