Trump Administration spreads ‘Much Madness’

1 min read

"It's all been said (and written) before, asserts "Phlatland" Phil O"Siffer, (a Wise Old Man). Consider, for instance, as apropos to current circumstances, the immortal, and sarcasm ladened, words of Emily Dickenson. Penned in the throes of the First Great American Civil War, on the occasion, some say, of A Lincoln's unconstitutional abrogation of the sacred writ of habeas corpus.

To wit

Much Madness is Divinest Sense,

To a "discerning" Mimd.

Much Sense, the Starkest Madness.

"Tis the majority in this, as in all, prevails.

Assent, and you are Sane.

But Demure, and you are straightaway Dangerous,

To be handled in a chain.

Again. .. apropos, n view of the blatant lies, mistruths, and ICE brutality promulgated by Trump and his minions.
