I am writing in support of Andrea Boettiger who is running for Minnesota state senate in district 15 and Nathan Schmig. First off with Andrea, she is a proven leader with experience as New Ulm City Council. She has dealt with budget issues, housing issues, and more. She is no doubt someone that is running because she cares about making our district better. I also know there are many issues in our area that never get addressed by GOP leadership. I do think it's time for a change and Andrea will be a voice for all of us and just not some.
Nathan Schmig on the other hand, has the potential to be a great leader if given the chance. He has visited all the towns in this districts, he definitely cares about our area and state. From healthcare to supporting farmers to supporting small businesses, he would be a great rep. I am voting for both these candidates not because of the letters behind their name but the people they are and wanting to be great public servants to all people in our district. I will also add they are giving me something to vote for rather than just voting against the opposition.
