Riots and fraud

To the editor:

That is what’s happening in Minnesota. These are not “peaceful protests.” Peaceful protesters carry signs and maybe chant, but they don’t use weapons such as rocks, bats, snow shovels, broom sticks or vehicles to block access against law enforcement officers that are carrying out their legal authorized duty. The disruption of the Sunday morning church service recently was absolutely disgusting.

Then there’s the multi-billion dollar fraud scandal making Minnesota a national embarrassment and becoming known as “The Land of 10,000 frauds”.

These are the things that have taken place because too many people, regular citizens, have become apathetic, misinformed, uninvolved, or not paying attention. We have been a “hands off” society when it comes to the control and maintenance of our duties as citizens when it comes to government and those we elect to represent us.

At 7 p.m. on Feb. 3rd in all precincts in the state there is a CAUCUS. This is a meeting of a group of citizens belonging to the same political party. You support candidates and policy and have the opportunity to become a voting Delegate to the BPOU County Convention and Endorsing Conventions.

This is the year where the entire structure of elected officials can be changed. Many of the offices are up for election, including County Commissioners, State Auditor, Secretary of State, Attorney General and Governor along with House and Senate offices. We need common sense, principled conservatives to represent the people/legal citizens.

So, get off your duff, get involved and attend your caucus. Be the someone that does something.
