To the editor:

We are on the verge of 20 million people losing their health care. My personal health care premium will increase 215%. It sounds like a lot, that is more than triple my premium this year, for the same policy. What is Michelle Fischbach doing about Minnesotans losing health care?

I have sent her a dozen emails on her contact site. She has not sent one single answer. In fact, she has voted against any extension of health care subsidies. She did approve of $40 billion being sent to bail out Argentina. At the same time only allotting $12 billion to American farmers, none of which is going to dairy farmers. Trump put tariffs on almost all countries except Russia, and the blow back was, China stopped all purchase of agricultural products from the USA. He did the same thing to China in 2018 where he allocated $23 billion in bailout money to farmers. Apparently, farmers aren’t as important this time. This is year one, what is going to happen to us in the next three years?

Now Trump with Fischbach backing him, has sent 15,000 troops to the Caribbean in harm’s way, at a cost of how many billions of dollars? Aircraft carriers and destroyers sent to stop drug traffickers that are 2,000 miles away from the USA. They are targeting 20-foot boats with missiles that cost $250,000 each. With one twenty foot boat taking four missiles to kill the last two people and destroy the boat. Trump is claiming he is stopping drugs from coming into the USA as he pardons the largest drug kingpin in the history of the world, who was convicted of bringing in 500 tons of cocaine to the USA and was in prison here. He already pardoned 1,600 violent criminals from the Jan. 6 insurrection after they put 200 capitol police in the hospital.

In closing, I would like to remind everyone that Trump campaigned on releasing the Epstein files, which he has done nothing to expedite them. He also promised to bring prices down by 50% on day one, and that has completely failed as he has implemented tariffs on all imported products. Finally, he said he would not get into anymore wars, as he promises retribution in Syria and is threatening a ground invasion in Venezuela, and bombed Iran.
