To the editor:
In a recent letter by Sherwin Skar (June 7) that spent several paragraphs spouting all sorts of accusations in an effort to trash President Trump failed to mention any successful policies of the current administration which Sherwin Skar seems to be more enamored with.
Rather than trashing one over the other, why not compare the policies and the results of each? Oh no, can't do that because President Trump's policies wins hands down on everything.
Not only did President Trump improve the quality of life and security for every citizen of the USA with his America first policies, he exposed the corruption in Congress and the bureaucracies. Our borders were more secure. Citizens had more money in their pockets. Food and energy was cheap and abundant. The world was more peaceful. No inflation. Just to mention a few things.
So what have we experienced the last three and a half years under the (Obama)/Biden administration? Open and unsecured border resulting in higher crime and proliferation of disease and deadly drugs. High taxes. High energy and food costs. Weaponizing the justice system against political opponents and citizens. Just to mention a few things.
So the determination of who best is the most qualified to take up residence in our White House for the next four years needs to be based on the policies that will benefit the United States, its citizens and the world. It's obvious President Trump had and has the best policies.
Isn't it interesting how some people have to promote their illegitimate White House occupant by trashing the opposition with accusations, misstatements, inaccurate and false information rather than promoting on all the great things their guy has done.
